Proposed “Solution” To Climate Change Could Be Catastrophic & Deadly
What is solar radiation modification - aka - sun blocking?
Do you know what SRM is? You should. SRM also known as solar radiation modification, should frighten you. This is the concept of artificially changing sunlight to regulate global cooling. The White House is endorsing the researching and potential use of of solar radiation modification, or sun blocking.
No big deal. It’s the just sun. It’s only our planet’s main energy source, it emits light and heat through nuclear fusion and it’s essential for photosynthesis in plants which are the foundation of the food chain. It’s used for solar electricity, natural vitamin D and basically it’s a necessity for the life of plants, animals and humans.
Sunlight exposure has also been linked to a better mood and can stimulate serotonin in the brain. It can reduce symptoms of depression. Sunlight is also a natural source of vitamin D, which is essential for the body's overall health and wellbeing. When our skin is exposed to natural sunlight, it can trigger the synthesis of vitamin D which is crucial for bone health, as it helps the body absorb calcium and maintain strong bones. Vitamin D also plays a role in our body’s immune function, mood regulation, too.
Our circadian rhythm is our body’s internal clock. Exposure to natural sunlight during the day helps maintain a healthy sleep cycle and healthy sleep patterns. Irregular and limited exposure to sunlight can disrupt our body’s circadian rhythm and lead to health issues and sleep problems.
What does this have to do with SRM? Do the benefits outweigh the risks?
The concept of artificially changing sunlight to regulate global cooling is often linked to geoengineering, and people are concerned and rightfully so. There are potential dangers…
In a congressionally mandated report, various methods for implementing solar radiation modification were discussed, including aerosol injections and cloud pattern manipulation. The goal is to reduce sunlight reaching Earth and mitigate the impacts of climate change. They want to reduce our earth’s natural sunlight. I can’t even believe I’m writing this right now.
Think of the risk to human health, weather, food supplies, animals and the overall food chain and so much more. How about, I don’t know, the affect it can have on the Earth’s atmosphere. (Like I said, before… no big deal… sarcasm)
How about the fact that, according to the Cleveland Clinic “About 1 billion people worldwide have vitamin D deficiency, while 50% of the population has vitamin D insufficiency. Approximately 35% of adults in the United States have vitamin D deficiency.”
Through proposed ideas such as cloud seeding (chem trails), creating more cloud coverage over the world’s oceans with a thicker marine layer and artificially altering and tampering with the skies. One method would be to increase the amount of aerosols in the stratosphere which would reflect our sun’s rays from the planet back to outer space.
It’s unfortunate that our country seems to put health at the bottom of the list when it comes to importance…
What do you think? Are you for SRM?
