Why I Avoid Touching Receipts, Aluminum Foil & Table Salt
The Dirty & Scary Truth About Common Objects In Your Everyday Life
Sometimes I’m confused as why I’m considered the weirdo because I avoid these common objects that people use every single day of their life. You might be shocked at some of the things on this list.
🚫Receipts - contain toxic BPS & BPA. EWG-commissioned tests of thermal paper found the amount of BPA on a receipt is 250 to 1,000 times greater than that found in a BPA-based food can lining.
🚫Oils - no canola for me, thanks! I always ask for butter or olive oil.
🚫Tylenol - depletes your body’s glutathione. Glutathione is an antioxidant produced in you cells. It’s essential for your body’s immune system. It also helps protect your body from damage caused by free radicals.
Ingredients - the first thing I look at on a label.
🚫Aspartame - one study showed that women who drank aspartame diet drinks were 30% more likely to experience a heart attack, stroke or cardiovascular event. (see this article). It can raise your risk for type 2 diabetes.
🚫Aluminum Foil - it leaches into your food. Aluminum is linked to Alzheimers. I have a roll that I’ve for about 8 years. I use it maybe once a year or less and put parchment in between the foil and my food.

🚫Table Salt - Not all salt is created equal. Table salt contains additives and is stripped of any natural minerals. Sometimes it even contains additives so that’s not even really salt — it can even contain sugar! Yikes! I bring THIS SALT with me and keep some in my purse/diaper bag! (Code: krystenskitchen)
