1. If you can’t wash off Apeel any pesticides used under it can’t be washed off. I’m sure they’ll mention a sanitizing process, I’d love to know exactly what that entails and what they use for that.
2. The past month or maybe more my groceries have looked super fresh on the outside and have been mush inside. Is the fruit/veg decaying inside faster than outside? In which case your not protecting the consumer and preserving more foods your protecting companies to sell rotten products that still appear good on the outside. Like I’ve been buying bright green avacados that are brown and inedible inside... so it’s still waste just with a gross coating.
I know your basically an expert on this subject and I appreciate your work! I REALLY think you’d enjoy this deep dive into Apeel I wonder if you’d come up with more questions for them!

THAT is the only reason - WHY there is such deep SECRECY all over this - as "Apeel" & all the other "too big to fail" BIG PHARMA-MAFIOSI may now use this toxic stuff, that can SEAL OFF any toxic stuff underneath . . . ?

I just bought some nectarines that seemed ripe and tender, but were withered and dead on the inside. Apeel seems to basically mummify fruit.
If the customer takes the fruit home and finds it inedible, then Apeel hasn’t prevented any fruit from being wasted. It’s just shifted the loss from the store to the customer.
I’m gonna return the nectarines to Costco. I guess it’s partially my fault for trying to buy nectarines in February in Montana.
Here's the deal. Explain to them how "we" (and I use that term lightly... it was really the scientists and the money people behind it all) didn't know what the side effects would be with GMO's. and NOW... we know it causes ALL KINDS OF HORRIBLE THINGS! There's just no way to be putting this stuff on our food and not know all of the horrible damage it will cause, until its too late. PLUS, in many instances, the FDA, EPA and the companies that made those products and sprayed our food were NOT held accountable. The WIDESPREAD corruption and deception that is in place in the USA when it comes to food consumables is outrageous. I'm sorry, but I would seriously doubt much about what they say when it comes to being "safe..."
I totally hear you and to be completely honest regardless of what I learn in this meeting I still don't want it on my food. I will still avoid it but I think we still can and want answers right? That is where my heart is with this. I want to learn more and have the chance to learn more from them but I still don't want to eat it. Just like how the FDA says artificial food coloring is safe... Hi!! I recently started following MM protocols which involves eating A LOT of fresh fruits and vegetables.
The goal of this way of eating is to get toxins out of the body and for me personally, to eat in a way that supports the health of my thyroid and liver and reduces inflammation.
It infuriates me that this stuff is on our fruit. I believe your perception that the makers of Apeel have good intentions, but part of me thinks that “they” (whoever “they” are funding all this) want to make it impossible for people to escape the poisons that permeate so much of our food.
Anyway I’m glad I found your articles, and I appreciate the work you do.
